Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Mia Rio developed her career
after moving to the United States and being signed to independent labels
Javo/SoSouth Records and CHP Media Group. A prolific songwriter, Mia
left her corporate world career after working for companies such as
Porsche and Google to solely dedicate to her music career. In 2017, her
award winning single Dynamite Love was released independently, written
by the singer and producer Timothy Long also known as Prob-Le-Matic. Mia
plans to release an EP in 2018 showcasing her message that Pop music is
ready to evolve from its "sex sells" formula.
