ABOUT
Born in Athens, Georgia, DiiJai (also known as DiiJai The Singer) was raised in a deeply musical household, where gospel, soul, and live instrumentation shaped his sound from an early age. Singing in church choirs by the age of two, he quickly discovered a passion for performing that would define his path.
Over the years, DiiJai sharpened his talent through school bands, orchestras, All-State choirs, and classical voice studies at South Carolina State University and Georgia State University. His powerful vocals earned him opportunities to perform the National Anthem at University of Georgia basketball games and other major events.
In 2008, he began building a loyal online following through YouTube, blending vocal covers, comedy, vlogs, and music commentary with undeniable charisma and authenticity. He officially emerged as a recording artist with the release of his Independence Day mixtape series and Testimony, introducing audiences to his emotionally raw songwriting and soulful delivery.
Since then, DiiJai has released projects including C.O.L.O.R.S and PROLOGUE: It Is What It Is, while sharing stages and collaborations with artists such as Syleena Johnson, Sammie, Case, Kelly Price, and Kanye West’s Sunday Service Choir. He has also appeared on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, On The Way Up: Atlanta, and in a national Super Bowl commercial promoting Usher’s halftime show.
Now based in Atlanta, DiiJai continues to push boundaries with a sound rooted in Gospel and R&B while embracing Country, Alternative, and Pop influences. His upcoming album, A Soul Without A Heart, completes an emotionally charged trilogy centered around vulnerability, healing, and self-expression.
Unapologetically honest and creatively fearless, DiiJai creates music for those who feel deeply, love hard, and refuse to be silenced.
